A classic. It seems that the english title might also be "A Noose for Django". At italian SWDB they define it as I do, though with some reserve, but at IMDB opinions vary. I dare say though that if you don't like this you are not a SW fan.  It has everything that the other 300 and odds movies of the genre strive for and do attain only rarely: a plot that keeps moving all the time; touches of originality in the usual situations: an outrageous gimmick (a seven barrelled gun), a series of impeccable acting performances (Berger and Garrone's brother, of course, but also Steffen. I don't like Brega so much, though here you have the chance of seeing him receive the Tuco treatment. And, of course, Nicoletta Machiavelli, sexy as hell). Taking into consideration that the story deals with peones smuggled beyond the border by the gang led by Garrone, that the story eschews the trap of cheap rhetoric as most of the other SW's dealing with similar themes is a great success.  The score, unfortunately, is only so so, acceptable only in part as sometime it exploits some of the most trite tricks of the trade. Also, though Garrone does his best, he can't hide the fact that it was shot in Italy, so preventing it from attaining good outdoors visuals (it's hard to figure out those woods as Mexico). That's why I give it only a 8\10.

Mmm, I want to see this. I wonder if it's released in Germany/Austria?

The Italian label, Raro, released in to DVD some time ago as well as a Japanese DVD having been released prior to that. xploited no longer has it in stock but it's still available. An average western, IMO. If you are a fan of later Italian horror, you will see Dakar (ZOMBIE, ZOMBIE HOLOCAUST) and Mariangela Giordano (BURIAL GROUND, PATRICK STILL LIVES) among the cast...
