Was Baby Jesus dubbed for the English version?

I hope so! If that's really how that kid sounds...I think Jesus' voice sounds more like a teenager trying to sound like a kid more than anything.

I have Italian version and saw English version before, and the voices really are different. Italian doesn't sound so terribly whiny, but I can't tell whether it is much better or only little bit.

wow ! great line mortimerforever.  i could imagine tuco saying this if he was ever stuck bambino sitting the baby jesus.  

Tuco would probably kill the Baby Jesus after about six minutes.  And what's more, his parents would thank him for it, and give him a bonus.

  The kid Jesus is far and away the worst/most annoying kid actor I've ever seen.  But one I've always disliked is Brandon de Wilde in Shane.  I've never been a big fan of the movie, but his Joey character bugs me.  When he's yelling Shane's name at the end and we're supposed to feel somewhat emotional, I find myself telling him to shut up.  Who knows, maybe its just me.

   Brandon DeWilde  undoubtedly was the most annoying child actor in westerns. That Shining kid was pretty bad, too.

Anybody else here agree that if the people in California played the voice of baby Jesus that the two trapped whales would swim the other way back into the ocean?  That was the most annoying voice ever, way worse than the voice of the daughter in "A History of Violence", which didn't fit the family.

Try new Baby Jesus brand decongestant, guaranteed to loosen the most stubborn phlegm. This may be an explanation, as to why child actors behave so F***ed up, when they get older.
