Coming back into print.
http://www.amazon.com/Zulu-Behind-EXPANDED-REVISED-ANNIVERSARY/dp/0956683460/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1415713214&sr=8-1&keywords=zulu+with+some+guts+behind+it

It's supposed to be out already in the UK but weirdly amazon.co.uk doesn't have any stock. Could indicate a production delay . . .

Zulu: With Some Guts Behind It: The Making of the Epic Movie, Expanded and Revised 50th Anniversary Ed. in da house!

488 pages, counting the index. Lots of photos, mostly in b&w, but with a 16-page colour insert. Reproductions of lobby cards, posters, production stills, some storyboards. Costing documents, production schedule, location call sheets. It looks like a very thorough production history.

We used to have this kid on the board called Groggy who liked these kinds of faux historical epic films. I got this book mainly to twit him, but he hasn't been around much lately. I guess when he became homeless things got tough (to wit: finding open internet terminals at the public libraries has been hard). Who knows when we'll be hearing from him again? Oh, well, I guess I could try reading this monster . . .
