A mixture of Rio Bravo and FOD. A sheriff  (Ghidra: he confirms the adage that you have to be sober to play a drunkard convincingly. He wasn't sober during the shooting of the movie, according to a witness quoted in Giusti's book) took to the bottle Dean Martin-like after his brother got murdered and so developed a yellow streak. He is redeemed by the arrival of a vice-sheriff (Sobieski: anonymous as can be) and puts an end to the excesses of the two rival gangs FOD style. Not good, but not very bad, it hasn't got any particular merit but there are many worse than this. For once Palmara is persuasive as the bad mexican. 5\10

I will have to disagree with you on this one, signor titoli, and agree with the guys from the SWDB: I think it's good, *slightly* unoriginal yet thoroughly enjoyable. But I agree 'bout Ghidra playing the drunken sheriff; the problem arises when he's supposed to say something lucid (every now and then), you can sense the disharmony with the rest of his act. Otherwise he's very good.

No matter how cleverly you sneak up on a mirror, the reflection always looks you straight in the eye.
