2nd installment in the adventures of these two Trinity clones, much weaker than the first one. It all revolves around a Gatlin gunned sidecar which 2 rival gangs try to steal from the US Army, with the two protagonist in the middle. The action is mostly of the slapstick kind and it never soars off. But there is a scene which makes this a must see at least once: the ultimate Mexican standoff, an exact parallel to the beans scene in Blazin' Saddles. That is a scene worth a 10\10. The movie gets a 4\10. Nice score by Tempera-Bixio.

I like the original so would like to see this one too.

Thomas Weisser descibes the plot differently as a "lightweight Western spoof of The Hustler with an inordinate amount of time spent inside a saloon pool hall". Is he lying as usual?

Surely with BLAZING SADDLES Mel Brooks must've borrowed the beans/farting idea from the original Trinity films?

If "inordinate amount of time" translates into 5 minutes on a total of 91', he's not.

Probably: I don't think he'd have dared such a stunt without the trinities before, though he stepped up on the exaggeration. And that's what Baldi does here too: unfortunately only in that one occasion.
