I'm not huge on rap but I do really like Immortal Technique. Listen to this song here, Land of the Gun. Background music might sound quite familiar to you.

Another rap group that "samples" ecstasy of gold to disguise the fact that they have no musical talent.
Isn't this getting old?

And Fritz The Cat audio?
 Roll Eyes

I sure hope these guys get the rights to use all this stuff.

I really got into underground hip-hop in high school. Immortal Technique is pretty good.

What other songs use ecstacy of gold?

I remember Amaze putting up a few examples a few years ago.

One of them even had "Triello".

One of the biggest hits this decade Crazy (although not a rap) sampled heavily from Viva Django.
I've also heard raps to Gringo Like Me. This is a bizarre trend and in poor taste.

I always thought Gringo Like Me could lead to great songs in very different genres, rock and rap being the main ones.

The song is awful enough without being converted to rap. It's always sounded like a really low-rent James Bond song written by a six year old.

That's what can be cool about it. It's called kitsh. Of course it wasn't intended to be Smiley
