Glenn Ford (in his usual western attire: jeans jacket and upturned brims hat) in the land of cangaceiros. Castle saw probably's Lima Barreto's movie and decided to bring it all back home. The reviews at IMDB tell more or less everything about it. The story is good for a c western, the actors are of english or spanish mother tongue and though, with the exception of Ford, playing brazilian charcters, are all able to speak fluent english.  Lots of stock footage and two mariachi numbers sung well (in spanish) by Abbe Lane (she could even sing them badly and you wouldn't care anyway: that's not what she's there for). All the actors are very good and it's worth a watching (if you can make it to the end) for the strangeness of it all. 6\10

I don't know, I always take a cappuccino at Starbucks. But it was an aperitive over here in the '60's and 70's.
