First in the Hanzo The Razor trilogy.

Haven't given it a proper view yet so I will come back and add my thoughts soon.

The story is about Hanzo, a policeman during the Edo period of Japan, who believes his superior has a connection to a well known killer, but his corruption goes deeper than that.

The version I viewed was 90 minutes. According to IMDB it's supposed to runs 108.
Not sure what could be missing since all the questionable material (Hanzo "pumping" female suspects for information by raping them with his large penis, Hanzo keeping his huge member in shape by penetrating bags of rice and whacking it with sticks) is intact but there was a poorly cut up scene towards the end.

I enjoyed it for its exploitative elements and groovy soundtrack. Would like to see the other two in the series.

7/10
