Nice, but the nearest IMAX theaters are in Sweden and Russia... Can't wait for the actual The Tree of Life movie, though Cool

If the options are Sweden and Russia, I'll stay deep here, thank you.

The Tree of Life has been rated PG-13 by MPAA. Which means that the film must be pretty close to it's final form. Which means that it actually might come out one day.

Probably my most anticipated movie ever, from director Terrence Malick (Badlands, Days of Heaven, The Thin Red Line, The New World). TRAILER premiering today with Black Swan, should hopefully be online ASAP.

Starring Sean Penn, Brad Pitt, Jessica Chastaine. It's about dinosaurs, the universe, and primarily growing up in the 50's in Texas and one's passage of life.

You're right about the "anticipated" part but according to a report (http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/movies/2010/12/tree-of-life-trailer-terrence-malick-brad-pitt-video-images.html) there are no dinosaurs, at least not in the trailer. But, yeah, I've been waiting for this film like two years, too.

Merged.

And yeah, despite not being one of TM's HC fans, I'm looking forward to this. (Haven't seen The New World yet.)

The director and the title are a sure sign that this is gonna put you to sleep after a couple of scenes.

Saw the trailer today and it is impossible to really say anything about the film based on it (except that the casting sucks). Can't say I'm too excited about this given Malick's track record (The New World was a total snooze-fest). We'll see when it gets here, but my expectations are not very high.

I can't wait to see this movie. From what I understand... Voyage of Time is the dinosaur section of the film you're talking about and is actually a companion piece to the film about "the life and death of the universe". However, Malick could have easily changed his mind.

Time to re-watch Badlands and listen to Nebraska by Springsteen. Later.

I always told you you had taste. Even when you did not believe me.
