All the faces from the previous two should be in it, but I'm still very skeptic about this. I just cannot see how this could possibly turn out good.

Isn't 2012 the year the world is supposed to end? Ironic.

I thought this was a dead project. In fact, Murray went on record saying that the upcoming video game (being released soon) is basically the third movie.

I've never been too much a fan of the Ghostbusters movies (I was more a fan the saturday morning cartoon) so whether they bungle this one up or not it's of little consequence to me.
My only concern is whether or not they're getting the old crew back. If not, I won't even watch it.

Come to think of it, I feel that will tie into the plot somehow.

Me too. From what I've seen or read the story was always that only Aykroyd was in favor of a third movie, and the (much wiser) others wouldn't let him destroy the good times and memories the series had in the 80s (and 90s).

In fact, I think the AVGN was talking about a possible third installment that is very improbable to ever happen just a couple of months ago.

Imagine my surprise when I saw this yesterday.

I'm certainly not the biggest fan of TG, but I had a great time watching those two movies when I was a kid, and the cartoon TV series as well, although to a less degree. So they're like a dear memory to me. Basically every kid I knew back then liked them. A rare thing really, usually we couldn't agree about jack.

I read just now one of the plots taken in consideration is the one in which Manhattan basically becomes Hell, called Hellhattan (or something like that). ARGH!

yeah, when I was 8 years old, I just wanted the soccer game to end to so I can have me some ecto.

I liked the cartoon, first movie and action figures - I had the ghostbusters house thingy.

Claudia, we need you to appear in LOST COMMAND. It's gonna revolutionize the war genre..

It's odd that the Ecto is 50% real juice. Hi-C usually runs in the 5-10% area.

Are we forgetting part 2?
In all honesty I have no problem with that movie.
Not as good as the first but it was perfectly fine.

IMDb says they're all in.

It's too early to tell... even for IMDB.
Until the old crew says they are in I won't believe it.

And how about their weight? Murray's still in passable shape but Aykroyd... yikes!

It wasn't as good as the first but hey, it had the Nintendo controller!

I had the ghostbusters house thingy.

The station?

I had the raygun that was attached to the proton (?) pack.
And I seem to recall having the thing that sucks the ghosts up.
Two Ghostbuster action figures are still in my possesion. I haven't the heart to throw away my old toys.
