I found what used to be the Rojo's residence. It remains only the 3 door arches of the cellar.

The place in the exhibition zone called "Feria del Campo" in the Casa de Campo Madrid. Of the all the "pabellons" (pavilions) built in the 50's only part of them remain but have been modified.

The house was the "Pabellon de Toledo". Now it is a restaurant "chic" called "La Pesquera".
Position : 40°24'51"N   3°43'57"W

Main door arch now :

Small door arches (now toilet entrances : Right for ladies, left for men) :

How I find this place was a headhache. It took me about 5 month to find the place.
First of all, I read the information on Christopher Frayling's book "Something to do with death" where it says the place is in the Casa de Campo in Madrid "a museum of rural life and folklore". Actually, there is not such a museum in Madrid.
I tried many research on Internet. I found not a single clue.

Finally, during a trip to Spain, end of june (2009), my wife and I went there in Casa de Campo with screen captures of the film.
To start with, we went to the information center. Though the ladies in charge there, placed several phone calls, they cound not help.

Then we went to the zone where are the "Pabellons" (Pavilions). At least I had a first clue, when I entered a restaurant and showed the pictures to a lady . She send us to the "Pabellon de Toledo", a restaurant called "La Pesquera". Inside I recognized the arch of the main door. My wife found the small arches hidden behind folding-screens. I asked a confirmation to a guy in charge. His answer was not sympathetic.
Then, we went  to another restaurant next to this one. We met two witnesses who recognized the pictures. They were there before the "pabellons" were destroyed.

This is it.

Great work Regis, its good to see that at least some of the building still exists.

in these parts a man's life can depend on a mere scrap of information.

Rojo's house in For a fistful of dollars.

I think it could be useful to show the maps of the Casa de Campo in Madrid

General map of the Casa de Campo in Madrid :

Detailed Map of the Feria del Campo :

The restaurant "La Pesquera" is at the "M01" mark. "Calle principal de Provincias"

The Casa de Campo (Country House) is the largest urban park situated west of central Madrid, (Spain). It was formerly a royal hunting estate. Its area is more than 1,700 hectares (6.6 sq mi).

You can see it on the maps of my previews posts.
