Dull, talky, and predictable, the film as a whole isn't worth much, but the fabulous intro must have been sent back through time by Leone himself: http://www.hulu.com/watch/80882/the-outcasts-of-poker-flats

They made a film of this? I remember this story from 11th Grade English class and thinking it might work as a movie.

Very set-bound. Would be better as a play.

That first scene was very impressive, I feel obligated to watch the entire thing.

Claudia, we need you to appear in LOST COMMAND. It's gonna revolutionize the war genre. What did you think of the script?

Yeah, the intro is amazing, very cinematic. Then the characters get to their snowed-in cabin and the talk-talk-talking never stops.

I don't mind that if it's good: ie THE PETRIFIED FOREST.

Intro was very well done, but the logic gaps kinda annoyed me. It's bad enough they used the stupid western cliche where the bandits blow up the safe, but to top it off they covered the safe in blankets to muffle the sound.   Roll Eyes

Then when the two guys enter the bank with their weapons drawn not one of them look behind the door as a person cautiously entering a room would do.

Cam Mitchell also covers the charge with mud.

Nobody said these guys knew what they're doing. For all we know this is the first safe job they've ever pulled. We subsequently learn what losers these guys all are, so although they're criminals, there's no reason to expect that they're competent ones.
