He says very little you couldn't have already heard from various other people that worked with Sergio Leone during his career, but it's a nice little interview and I thought I'd share it here. It's in Italian.


(The searching engine came up with nothing but since it was uploaded about a year ago on YT there's a good possibility it was posted here already...)

Interesting what he says about the last lines on FADM: before he doctored the script Eastwood was just listing the names, not the rewards.
Of course, the most important thing he says is how the dialogues were thought up in roman dialect before they came to be translated in italian and, of course, in english. This is important because, as he remarks, it is the typical "cocky" attitude of roman low-class people that Leone was aiming at translating on the screen. The example given of the Judas 30 pieces of silver is revealing.

Years ago, I E-mailed Sergio Donati and asked him some questions about GBU.  He gave a very nice response, seemed like a nice guy.
