First time I see this short interview, it's been uploaded to YT just a couple of months ago.

It's interesting. Again, you've probably heard most of what he said already (expect the last part), but this is the first time (at least for me) you have the possibility to actually hear him saying it. He talks only about OUATIA, in Italian.

Hmm, weren't you from Italy?

What's that bit at the end about immigrants and Columbus discovering America?

That guy (I didn't get his name) asked Leone, because of so many poor peasants that in the past emigrated from the parts they both originated from (Naples, Southern Italy), was it a good thing at all that Columbus discovered America, and Sergio Leone answered him that in his opinion what really happened is that they exported peasants but at the same time imported back gangsters.
