I think the film is better known as its re-release title Alice, Sweet Alice.

It's very good up until the "big reveal" of the murderer (roughly an hour and 15 minutes in).
Kinda lame. The character is somebody you see very few times (something that worked for Deep Red tremendously but falls flat here).
The motivation behind the murders is pretty thin as well.

The killer's wardrobe takes obvious inspiration from Don't Look Now.
