Hi,

One of my hobby is to visit the filming locations of my favorite movies.  OUATITW is one of them.

I recently visited the Monument Valley locations including the Arch.

Here is the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwIJiSXgYjQ

it includes my footage and  Regis Cluseau photos http://regis.cluseau.perso.neuf.fr/OIW0000_US.html
Visit  the dedicated blog: http://onthesetoutw.blogspot.com/

Enjoy!

Can't say I like the fact that you've looted bricks from the location and that you're now trying to sell them. I understand that these were loose on the ground and that you didn't pry them off the ruined arch, but still.

Nice video.  But this ALWAYS brings to mind: why (in the film) would anyone waste their time to build such an arch in the middle of nowhere??  I could see it as an entrance to a fenced plot of land or a ranch, but that would be a lot of work - and for what reason - to build in the middle of nowhere like in the film.  Any ideas??

(I know it's a film, not history)

Maybe they were about to build the fence, but Frank and his buddies got there in time to prevent them. Wink
