Rub me the wrong way, and I'll go off in your face

This is the only Italian Western José Antonio de la Loma directed  (apparently he had some involvement with Why Go On Killing? but that has yet to be proven) and boy is it great!

What is it with these one time Spaghetti efforts? They all seem to be excellent (The Grand Duel, The Ruthless Four,The Cost Of Dying,Death Sentence).

A gang of seven outlaws devise a plan to rob the bank of Sun Valley. Their intention is to blow out the floor of the bank from a tunnel dug under the street to retrieve the safe. To accomplish this they blow up several of the town's buildings as a diversionary tactic. Each gang member has a specific task to do during the robbery and everything goes, more or less, as planned. The gang rides off to their hideout cabin in the nearby snowy mountains.
The double crosses start here when one of the men gets greedy.

1/3rd Heist picture, 1/3rd murder mystery and 1/3rd revenge flick.
It's a fantastic and gripping tale with a highly ironic ending.
And it even has a very interesting subplot involving two women (a rarity in the genre).

Should be on anybodies top 50.

Yeah, this one is great! True hidden gem. I haven't heard about anyone who disliked it!
