I have read this thread on the forum before but would like to mention it again.
I would have thought the scene at the end of GBU where Blondie shoots Tuco down from graveyard cross woud have been better if Blondie was not shown aiming with his rifle.I think effect would have been if the shot fired was not seen....................Shoot me down boys !!!!l

I saw GBU in a theater when it first came out. Matter of fact I saw a midnight sneak preview of it. Anyway I gotta say that the way the
ending is had a very good effect on the audience. Tuco was standing on that cross, which was getting weaker, with a rope around his
neck and I don't think anyone knew what was going to happen. I know I didn't. Then here's Blondie with his rifle sighting in and it all
came together for everyone. It was like the lightbulb came on and I know I was thinking why didn't I think of that. I bet a lot of other
people were thinking the same thing. LOL.

Did anyone here think that Blondie was going to just plug Tuco, like execute him, instead of shooting the rope?  My brother thinks that.

I must admit, the first time I saw GBU, I actually thought Clint was going to shoot Eli and I remember thinking Clint was a bastard after all. I felt immensely relieved when the rope exploded instead...

The first time I saw it, I thought Clint was going to pop a cap in Tuco, but was also relieved when he shot the rope instead.
Btw, cigar joe, that's one badass photo  Afro

I think it would be a good poster for a Dirty Harry movie.
