OH SH*T!

« : March 14, 2010, 12:50:20 PM »

Just wanted to give everybody a heads up on a new project by yours truly. Over the past few months I have been writing and planning for my new short film, The Harringtons. It's a western which we plan to submit to a national college film festival, if it does good enough, I plan to extend it and try for more prestigous festivals.

Here's some production stills:

As soon as the project is completed I'll be sure to post it here for y'all.

I was wondering about it the other day, and was hoping that one of the reason you're not around these days is that you're busy with your film projects.
Now that I see that, not only I'm pleased, but I'm also: Wow! Impressive!

Stole my words. Not exactly a small production you've got there!

Thanks guys! The competition first starts on a school level, then regional, then I think international. This Friday the winners on a school level will be announced and showcased at my college. I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes.  O0

We all had a great time making this movie. If you add me on facebook you can see the entire 120 pics from that remarkable day. We were lucky we got to use an authentic 1800's train station too for a laughable price, and located in NJ just an hour drive from where I live! The guy who runs it is nice beyond words, couldn't be friendlier. The station's no longer active, though it's located near an active frieght line. It's now used for productions including the indie film The Station Agent.

Doing the last sound fixes and waiting for the music. If the first shot of the composer is ok (not too many changes needed), the release can be expected somewhere around next weekend!

Seems like everyone's got western fever round these parts. My film was one of the top 3 movies, winner of Best Drama, so we now go on to a national level!

The Harringtons is already up on youtube and can be found here for your viewing pleasure!
