JUDGES, the modern-day Spaghetti Western, rode into Hollywood Video and Movie Gallery last Tuesday.

This film pays homage to the style that Sergio Leone created.

Feel free to rent it and let me know your feedback.  We are trying to spread the word and get more Westerns made in Hollywood.

Info about the movie can be found at http://www.judgesthemovie.com

saw the trailer.
I dont know if I will rent it.
It is really difficult for me to take these "westerns" that take place in modern day seriously. The Whole affair just seems rather silly and turns me off right away. The only thing that looked promising was the Barber character and he is not shown doing much. If this were an actual western set during its own time period I would have checked this out.

Maybe I will look into it. But Blockbuster doesnt have it for sure and their are no Hollywood videos where I am at.

Hey..good for you......Duster.... Cool..it's no small feat to get an indy out and available on DVD ...looks interesting...& the soundtrack sounds nice.
There have been a few terrific films out over the years that might be called "westerns in a modern day setting"...among them the classic "Bad Day At Black Rock".."Way Of The Gun"...which has a great climactic shootout...& even "Touchez Pas Un Grisbi" (Hands Off The Loot)...which pay homage to & echo similar themes as many great Westerns. Good Luck.

Congrats Duster. Are you looking at getting it shown at any Fests? Also thanks for Angel bringing up Bad Day At Black Rock. A fantastic neo-western (also categerised by some as a noir)
