Caught the last half of this silent film Dir. by George B. Seitz, with Richard Dix, Lois Wilson, and Noah Beery, epic story of Native American's looked like Navajo's. From reading about it on Imdb it has a lengthy prologue focusing on the natives that I missed. I was impressed with the authentic look of the  extras and background scenes its John Ford territory Monument Valley. It is shows the conflict between some of the whites and the natives also has a love story between native Richard Dix and white woman Lois Wilson. I caught if from when the Navajo's form a unit to go off and fight in the Great War WWI. Of course being 1925 it has Wilson converting Dix to Christianity, and in the end of course having Dix die rather than have him consummate his "touch" of the white woman, lol. Cheesy but nevertheless interesting. 6/10

What is interesting is the initial part where the story lays the ground to justify the whites taking over the land, as it shows as this is just another round of the history's wheel. But the only great part, after lots of melodrama, is when the Indians come home from the war full of hopes and find that everything has gone for the worse. 6\10
