Watched it last night. Great scenery and OK plot, which reminds me to a great extent of the Treasure of the Sierra Madre. It is unfortunate that the movie was not filmed in colour, it would have been a much better experience.

A W with Roger Moore... I thought I heard it all by now!

You heard only half the story: he plays an Irishman called Shaun.
Anyway, the movie is excellent, though Moore and Middleton are miscast and the bw photography don't enhance the story. 8\10

Moore was good in this one.
Well made western, one of the best of the prolific Gordon Douglas. Only Rio Conchos is better. 7/10

Moore, sometime, does the same grimaces of Jack Nicholson.

finally watched this - yes the scenery is great and Moore and Middleton are miscast - Middleton far more so unbelievable as a Mexican bandit leader 7/10
