They take many liberties with the historical facts (I always feel stupid having to say something like this, like there is such thing as a ''historical fact'' about the Old West...) and ride them head-to-head with like 3000 (W) cliches, but the action and especially Scott and Ryan make it work. I like Robert Ryan's Sundance Kid; it's unique and far from those others romanticized characters.

Of course, I mean it's good for a B-Western.
