The rat is loving this.
Judging by the photo of the bartender, it looks to me like the same actor that played the bartender in FAFDM.
He seems to have a had a long history of not knowing where the people above him testing the bed springs are... Perhaps the cigar butt on his butt cheek changed his ways after his encounter with Tuco?

I am intrigued by this whole sequence. There seems to be so much to it. Yet what I find hard to imagine is just how well it would fit in with the rest of the film. I guess it didn't and that is why it was cut from any release.

Nobody can know.

But in consideration of Leone's time taking style I would guess between 5 and 10 min. Probably closer to 10 min.

Not quite in response to your question but.....
If it is still existed and I had a million dollars I would pay to see that goddamn scene. Why does a few stills make me feel this way?
I am with you! If it were possible, they should put ALL the lost footage back into the film-the Socorro scene, the extended torture scene, and the cannon fight to make the film 200 minutes!
