 8)  Greetings Amigos. ok now, I may be bending the rules a bit here about this being LEONE-related but... well, I'll just get on with it. Enzo G. Castellari was an Italian film-maker who made what I guess would be the 'Action Movie' equivalents to Spaghettis, though I'm pretty sure he directed some of those as well. anyway, perhaps some of you smarter guys out there know more about Castellari than I do, I've only seen two of his movies -  the first was 1990: BRONX WARRIORS, a big, loud and fun mix of Walter Hill's THE WARRIORS and Carpenter's ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK and the second was a DIRTY DOZEN style flick called THE INGLORIOUS BASTARDS. both of these I saw as a child when my parents owned a video shop - during the 80's when you could get your hands on all sorts of underground genre classics quite easily - and the only actor I remember from them is Fred Williamson (FROM DUSK TILL DAWN). anyway, turns out that once Uma Thurman finally gets to KILL BILL, Tarantino is set to direct his long-opted WWII movie..... THE INGLORIOUS BASTARDS. coincidence? I think not but so far I have not seen or heard anybody, anywhere mention the original. anyone else out there read me? let me know please. by the way I love KILL BILL. just a few more weeks till VOL. II. can't wait.
