it is an extended version of "The Story of a Soldier," with an extra stanza of lyrics. Once you have clicked the link and are on the  Youtube page, click "Show More..." by the description, and the lyrics will drop down.

The description says this is "from a newer Italian album." This version is  5:37; the "older one" (ie. the only one I knew existed until 5 minutes ago) is 3:54.

Does anyone know what this new song/album is all about, and how it can be purchased?
Has a new album been released recently with lots of stuff that was never released before, or are the extra two minutes of this song the only new stuff that is previously unreleased?

Drink - the longer version of that track (listed on CD as 5:30) is on the 2001 release of Il Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo complete soundtrack, GDM 7001.  This GDM 7001 track is also more understandible.  It may be on other sources as well.  I'm going to E-mail that track to you since I have it on the computer already as an MP3 file, it's over 6 MB.
