The glance that makes holes in the silver screen

I just thought I should mention that there are actually films that could be labelled as "Finnish Westerns", as crazy as it might sound. Villi pohjola ("Wild North") is one of them. Plot summary taken from IMDb:
Quote
Western spoof set in the "Wild North", the Finnish Lapland. A young woman whose gold-digger father was killed two years earlier thinks the killer was Tundra-Tauno. She goes after him but soon realizes that she may be wrong and that Tauno may not be such a repulsive character after all.
Written by Markku Kuoppamäki
It's called a "spoof" because it isn't supposed to be set in the West but in Lapland, though it's not the Lapland of 1955 or any other real era. The landscape is obviously Lapland but the plot and characters are like in a western. Yet I think they use some cars and machine guns. I could be wrong about that, though. It's been some years since I saw the movie and frankly I have no urge to see it again.  Cheesy

At least two sequels were made: Villin Pohjolan salattu laakso (1963) ("The Secret Valley of Wild North") and Villin Pohjolan kulta (1963) ("The Gold of Wild North").

What does it actually mean? The title, I mean.

Wild North. Or The Wild North. I think the town in the movie was called Pohjola.
