Smoke Tuco, so you can't bullshit!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0377800/

Written by Sam Shepard, directed Wim Wenders.

I barely made it through the first hour: boring as hell, zero originality - one frickin' cliche on another.

I've seen we have some die hard WW fans here, yet nobody dared to comment this one...

The second half is even worse - the less said the better.

2/10

Well, you're right, the film isn't very good. Wenders used to do this sort of thing well (check out The State of Things), but he hasn't really been able to come up with the goods for more than 20 years now. The one thing in the film's favor, though, is the chance to see Butte, Montana on celluloid. Back in the 80s I had a buddy who lived there, and I haven't had a chance to get back there since then. A shame Wenders didn't document what has become of the tailings pond . . . .

Talk about exotic locations.

That wasn't enough? You felt you HAD to watch the movie?

I actually got the DVD for free at least 3 years ago, and felt it was time to get it over with. Never cared to check on IMDb first... Unfortunately.

I rather liked Land of Plenty.

Haven't seen that, but I disliked Until the End of the World, Faraway, So Close, Lisbon Story, and The End of Violence. And Million Dollar Hotel was unwatchable.
