My two worst Westerns were both released in 1995:

1) THE QUICK AND THE DEAD -  the worst Western I have ever seen. (and the fact that it has a great cast and still sucks so bad just further shows how awful this movie is).

2) WILD BILL

Opinions?....

I saw Quick and the Dead years ago. No strong memory of it.

My least favorite was some cheap B Western called The Nebraskan. I remember it was in 3-D and Lee Van Cleef played a bit part bad guy. Really bad stuff.

The Quick and the Dead is kinda fun. At least it was when I was thirteen. A bullet hole in the chest showing in a shadow - brilliance Afro

The Quick and The Dead was the first Western I ever saw. I hated it so much, I decided that the whole Western genre sucked and swore I'd never ever watch a Western again (!)

Several years later, I watched GBU, just cuz I heard that it was a famous movie (I first heard of it cuz I am a huge Metallica fan, and they always come out to Ecstacy of Gold; I am also a huge Seinfeld fan and it was mentioned on an episode); I did not even know it was a Western till I started watching it! Well, my opinion of Westerns changed drastically after that  Smiley

Yea both are pretty bad, but there are PLENTY others.

I have not yet seen any Spaghettis other than Leone's, but from what I hear, there were lots of really awful Spaghettis (and plenty of bad Hollywood Westerns as well, I'm sure).

I also recently saw two John Wayne Westerns that while not awful, I did not think were all that great: "The Sons of Katie Elder" and "3 Godfathers" (though to be fair to the latter, I was unfamiliar with the "three wise men" tale before I saw the movie, so I didn't "get it"; perhaps my opinion on the movie would have been different had I heard that tale before I saw the movie).

And I just saw -- and did not love -- "Two Mules for Sister Sara."
