Not that im complaining  ;D

As the little News: thingy says above.. its not out for another 10 days.
It does have a little...
(Exclusive! Cantonese & Manderin Subtitles) Sticker on the shrink rap.
Also has no Region stated anywhere... it could be some Region 0 Asian release. The plot thickens
Way to go Play.com. they must have them in stock now! if you can not wait until 18th, go buy.

The packaging is good enuff to eat. The Spine title are in copper. Front title GOOD BAD UGLY is imposed.  Eli & Cleef are on the back in contrast to Clint on the front. Its worthy of framing  ;) alright carm down Smoker

Hell... I might actually watch the discs the weekend.

It is Region 1. .

The gun sound effects are bad but.. with the magic of the internet rumour/news. I was prepared for much much worse. The 2001 MGM R2 Terminator Audio was far more effensive. Some effects do just sit on top of the soundtrack, like on a second sound gate.
The films perfect for a newcomers. But im too use to it 1967 style.
Italian Audio is fantastic. Still don't understand why a english mono could of been cut and pasted between these two.  :-\

Mickey 'More Feeling' Knox, Clint & Eli is are great on the second disc. 2nd part of the Morricone mini doc is a highlight for me.
Alberto Grimbaldi making an appearance.

If you ordered from play.com, your dvd is the british r2. If you ordered from playusa.com it's the canadian r1. But it's not an asian release.

Well the canadian release comes with Cantonese & Manderin Subtitles.

It does actually state this on PLAYUSA as matter of fact.

Lucky bastard. I usually order r1 from either playusa or dvdpacific. This time I chose the latter, and you got it before me...Anyway, my copy was sent a week ago, I should receive it today or tomorrow.

Many canadian releases have the title in both english and french on the cover. Is this the case with GBU? The fear of getting this remarkable film in an extraordinary special edition with a crappy bilingual cover is what made me order it from dvdpacific.

Received it yesterday! Alas, a friend of mine turned 20, so I had to grab a couple of beers with him instead of seeing the film. I'm seeing it tonight with a friend, and I've bought cigars. This is going to be fantastic. I went through some of the features yesterday, and it looks like a very decent release. Can't wait to hear the italian language track.

I was feeling quite smug last friday.  ;D couldn't seem to find anybody else with a copy.

Has anyone found the four easter eggs on this dvd? They were ok, but nowhere near as cool as the one on the Once Upon...West dvd.
