If you want REALLY GOOD, I suggest you check these titles out.
THESE ARE ALL MUSTS

Death Sentence
Django
The Big Gundown (probably the biggest Leone clone out there. Which is why a lot of fans hold it in high regard. Not my favorite)
The Great Silence
The Mercenary
Vamos a Matar Companeros
Death Rides a Horse
The Grand Duel
The Ruthless Four
God forgives...I don't
Cemetery without crosses (another Leone clone. Even has a scene directed by the master himself)
My name is nobody
Keoma
A bullet for the general
Yankee
Apocalypse Joe
A pistol for Ringo
Blood on a silver dollar

(you can find most of those on my top 20 list...)

I'd also recommend the Sartana movies (all are well above average) if you like a Wild Wild West type western with a lot of gimicks and non-stop action.
If you meet Sartana, pray for your death
I am Sartana, your angel of death
Have a good funeral my friend, Sartana will pay
Light the fuse...Sartana is coming
Sartana is here! Trade your pistol for a coffin (weakest of the series)

The first Sabata starring Lee Van Cleef is similar to the Sartana flicks and just as good.
Just stick with the first though. Then if your feeling adventurous, check out its sequel.

These are new releases I just recently bought. I'll let you know what I thought about them soon.

I'm looking into buying some new sw's myself FC including YANKEE.

Is that SILENCE STRANGER dvd widescreen and uncut?

And whats the English title for the Guiseppe Vari movie?

I see that the UK movies4men channel has been showing WHITE FANG quite regularly though i'm not sure this qualifies as a western.

Not the greatest count for me. :P

There are two kinds of films in this world:those which stay, even when their genre is forgotten, and those which don't.

I've never read the Jack London novel nor seen any of the Disney movies but I reckon it looks like a mountain man movie (which are considered westerns).
Also, it's a FrancoCleef dvd.
