Title: The Savage Guns (1962)
Post by: titoli on December 01, 2016, 12:02:49 PM
The good things: the 2 female animals, the andalusian locations (never seen in other Euro Westerns); the coold-blooded murders of Rey and of three thugs.. The beginning can't but remind one of the introduction of Sentenza in BBC.  But the rest is pure crap: Basehart is old and worn, Nicol too slick: none on the two looks threatening, especially brandishing toy-guns. The story is slow moving and as formulaic as can be. The dialogues suck even when not sermonizing. At IMDB somebody has the nerve to praise the OST: deaf people, probably. 4/10
