Title: whats to roll he's drunk it all
Post by: guy on October 21, 2005, 07:45:03 PM
is this scene a portrayl of noodles intelligence , i.e preferring the drunk to the dollar, which could have bought them 10 corn dog rolls, but instead led to meeting max. would noodles have ended up in the syndicate regardless of maxies input.? in the early days noodles had tthe ideas, like the salt and alcohol thrown overboard. was it purely that noodles was off the scene that led to maxs rise? people say when u go inside u learen all the tricks, they say its like going to school. on this theory would noodles not have more knowledge of crime and the way it works than max. ....

good point Guy, I think Max was not smarter than Noodles he just had vision and ambition to get to the top.
