Good comparison. One would think they don't change this kind of things, but they obviously do...

I wonder which was the original title card "Fistfull" or "Fistful". Which do you think makes more sense?

I think the alternate opening titles should've been presented as an extra on the DVD.

The words "fist" and "full", when combined, become "fistful" (by longstanding practice; there are other examples: handful). So "Fistful" is correct.
