There is a new site/blog where over 300 Ennio Morricone scores can be downloaded for free. There are no passwords or any special conditions. One page called Westerns Westerns Westerns !!! has - you guessed it - all of the Spaghetti Westerns that Maestro Morricone has ever written. Some of the downloads have even a stills gallery to go with the score! The dude asks for a dollar donation. Most are 320 kbs but there's a few that are EAC -1411 kbs and they really ROCK!
This is the link - http://enniomorricone-ilmaestro.blogspot.com The 56 track GBU bootleg score is igreat - every cue that went into the movie is on the 2 CD's. Well worth the trip.

"Please support the artist and buy the CD" WTF? Does this mean the money goes to Ennio himself. The site doesn't look like overly official...

I think you missed something - in the heading it states that these are samples and (it is hoped) that you will ultimately buy the CD. Hence support the artist.
There are no links to where you can buy any of them but how hard is it to buy a CD these days? I am certain that the $1 donation is not intended for anyone other than the website owner to keep the thing going but even that is optional. As for being official Morricone well, no. How can it be?

I just downloaded Once Upon a Time in America and Days of Heaven. I'll be getting more. Thanks for the site, despite how illegal this is!
