As would RR say:
EXPLAIN.
-
I see it happen from time to time and I've never understood it myself.
What really boggles my mind is when it says Guest posting.
Guests can't post... can they?
-
I think their has already been a topic about people printing topics. Which i always find weird. But this one is really strange. There is your 5 line review, a couple "i like it too" and the rest of what the guy printed is the big pic in Whalestoe's signature...
And guests can't post as far as I know...
-
My guess is that someone is looking at the Printable View of the thread. I do that myself when dealing with longer threads, it saves time of clicking through all the pages.

You got it, grog!
Mystery solved. Thanks.
-
The mystery's solved, but a new question arises: Why would you bother doing that for a thread with three posts on it? ???
-
May be the guy wanted to know what that "print" button was... and he prefered to do it on a little topic rather than on "Rate the last movie you saw". Just safer.
-
The RTLMYS thread is too big. Everytime I try to look at the Print View of it, I get an error message.

But a guest who doesn't even know how the Print button works wouldn't know that...
I somehow managed to overlook the Print button all the time I've been here. :P Take it as an example of how we're used to overlooking things that don't seem siginficant to us...
-
There's a Print button?

There's a Print button?
Yes, there is. At the top of each thread, next to "Reply", "Notify" and "Send Topic".

Some people have it set so that it doesn't say they're online when they're online, they are hidden as a "Guest." So, when a hidden member posts, it would just say "Guest Posting."

People like DJ.

Anyone but Jinkies do it?

Anyone but Jinkies do it?
No. It's always so puzzling who the "1 other user" on-line is...

I'm under the impression Stinkens doesn't actually have it on "hidden" on purpose.
Why would he if he always makes his presence known anyway? ???

That can be just anyone.
Someone just passing through (not like Banjo), accidentally hits the ''print'' or ''reply'' button and the page records it, so you see it in the ''Who's online'' list. That doesn't mean he was really printing something or replying to a topic
Noodles, Noodles...

Check "who's online" and try guessing who's hidden.

Jenkins is too busy formulating pedantic criticisms of The Wrong Man to ponder such an issue.

This is an "issue"? Whatever.
