Anyone notice, after Eastwood takes plate off his body and then shoots the 4 other guys, that when its over, it looks like Eastwoods gun is resting on something, like a barrel of something? Cause u can see the gun pan back and it looks like its resting on something?
Any thoughts?

Cant see anything myself......???
What did get me thinking was when Esteban slips off to the side when Joe starts walking towards the Rojo's why doesn't Joe notice him going off. He is looking at the whole gang so it wouldn't be hard to miss him....
Also I think the cutting and splicing when Silvanito shoots Esteban sucks....not to Leone's normal standard
One last thing ...I think Ramon should have finished shooting the Armour at the party, by one last bullet smack in the middle...unless he had none left, in which case one less round the outside....ha! ha!

That's to do with the "Leone style".
In most cases if something isn't in the frame the characters can't see it.
Example: In GBU why was it that the three Bounty Hunters that capture Tuco weren't able to see Eastwood coming up behind them in a vast open field?

Agreed, the cutting is bad and the sound of Silvanito's gun sounds weak (perhaps due to audio damage).

Look at the way Eastwoods guns pans across the dead field of people, looks like its sitting on a box or barrel or on the frame of the camera. Its toooo straight of a pan over, for the gun!
It looks like it was sitting on something, if it was hand held it wouldnt look like that!

After everyone is shot, look at the way the gun pans over. It looks like its sitting on something for a second...NO?

^ Looking at the previous shot it seems that Clint can keep the gun pretty steady while firing. Doesn't seem like he needed any support.
-
After he shoots everyone, then the gun tilts down then pans across. There is no way anyone could keep the gun that straight.

PS-After all, this is film making, not reality!

I know exactly what you mean Pablo, his hand movement almost confirms that the gun must be resting on something too if you know what I mean.
What an idea from Leone!

What I notice about Ramon and the four guys around him... we only see close-ups from three "background guys". Who was the fourth? (This is after Esteban stalks out of picture.)

I hope you don't mean what I'm thinking... :-\
