Forgot to mention Face to Face. Faccia a Faccia in italian with Volante and Millian. I have yet to see it but it sems to rate pretty highly. Anyone ??

I have seen them all but when it came to buying I opted only for A Bullet for the General and Companeros. I may add Keoma later but I actually liked Mannaja a man called Blade alot more as far as the mid 70s spags go. Texas addios and 4 for the appocalypse were forgettable.

For a Few Dollars More / Re:Favourite moments

I agree way too many to list them all.

The Colonel/Hunchback confrontations are classic , especially Kinski's face twitch

When the Colonel unfurls his armament sack on his horse

Very creepy role in Night of the Hunter. Even more so than Cape Fear (original). Both highly recommended.

Sabata was a fun film. Not great by any stretch. Lots of gadgets to amuse. No where near the likes of The Big Gundown or The Great Silence in the ranks of the non Leone SW.

Nice point on Millers Crossing. Definitely one of the Coen bros best work. Love the tommy gun scene accompanied by "Oh Danny Boy". What the hell got them from this movie to that POS "Intolerable Cruelty" :-X

Off-Topic Discussion / Re:Kubrick
« on: July 28, 2004, 08:14:48 AM »
Kubrick was definitely one of the handful of directors that could lay claim to the best ever. Recently watched Barry Lyndon, The Killing, Paths of Glory for the first time and wow, what a storyteller! Having seen most of his other films numerous times (clockwork orange still my fav kubrick) its time to rewatch a few I havent in a while, and a couple I havent seen yet.
