The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Re: Blondie's Beard!

Keep in mind they had to go from New Mexico to Texas and kept getting sidetracked. You never know how long it could've taken for them just to get to Batterville.

Yes, that's exactly what I meant when I wrote, that it  obviously took place in longer period of time. And don't forget Tuco chasing Blondie. It also had to be longer time, because Blondie managed to join Shorty in the meantime. And he has also made four or how many campfires.

I really don't know about Al Mulloch's character. It's not so obvious what happened to him. And, of course, I have no experiences with shooting with wounded arm.  ;) Maybe it is possible.

sorry if it feels like I stole your idea.

No, it doesn't.  :) I'm only glad that you notice same things as I do.

Leone paid very close attention to time in this film. The characters age with the passing of time. amazing!

Yes, he did, and it is one of the things I really like in this film, I think I noticed it already when I watched it for the first time. (I think I mentioned this thing on IMDb, as Firecracker probably knows.) As well as gradual collecting of his "trademarks" during the film, though I guess this one I noticed when I watched it for second time.  ;)
I think it is quite obvious this film takes place in longer period of time, though it is not so evident how long it is. At least not for me; I haven't realised that the shot man in the beginning and the single-handed man later is the same person, until I read it somewhere. Because it seems he's shot into left, not right hand in the beginning. Is it Leone's mistake, or did I miss something?
