john Davis chandler, who died 2 months ago.

chandler's favorite role was James Arther  sargantanas, an albino angel eyes.
you can only see SARGANTANAS exiting the room in this scene.
all control shifts very quickly to S after the platinum heist
after Walter crosses S. things change.

we have many heavies to post. how did Mortimer meld into angel eyes" ?
are they're any more stories on Fonda taking the role of frank ?
OUATIA ? analyze this.

Eddie Pedack ( Alain Delon ) , a convicted criminal, has a steady job,
a wife ( Ann Margret ) and a daughter, and he puts a down  payment
on a boat. he also has a police detective Van Heflin and a brother  after him.
the first believes eddie shot him, the second Jack Palance wants him for
the last heist.

John Davis Chandler plays a bad to the bone henchman  "James Arthur Sargatanas "
a titular, sniveling, psychotic, homicidal, weasel, gangster w/ a pale complexional, nasal, whinny voice,
who has a " thing " for Eddie's 5 year old daughter.
creepy ( and frightening ), crazed out, and doped up.
Palance to Sargatansas. leans over rubbing his nose, noticing his affection for Eddie's little girl
" can't you once act a little human ? "
Crazy hyper-kinetic Ralph Nelson direction, beginning in a jazz club
that is crazy - cool. nelson really lays down the mid sixties jive, but
nelson's quasi - European handling of groovy cinematic tricks make
the film visually arresting.   Ass kickin ' music by Lalo Shifrin

you couldn't cock the rifle unless you meant to fire it.   a winchester 1892 model.

« on: July 11, 2008, 10:08:49 PM »
killing pablo started shooting last month, that is if the writers's strike is over.  w/ non other than javier bardem in the role of pablo.  great casting  8).  BTW,  the book, killing pablo, by mark bowden is available @ amazon. meanwhile, oliver stone is involved in "escobar " due out around the same time.

The Colossus of Rhodes / the sword and the dragon
« on: June 28, 2008, 01:58:05 PM »
BTW, it's a Russian S&S flick also named is "ILIA MUROMENTS"." TSATD is so far out.  :D mountain of men formed so the evil tugar can get a look at his enemy. 3 headed dragon, some guy riding around w/ many arrows in his body. a wind demon that defys description. circa ' 56, I'm betting NO damn body's seen this masterpiece of S&S mixed w/ X-tremely weird stuff  based on some old Russian icon ilia muroments.

there's a lot of fantacy in leone's S&S film COR. i know i'm a little off topic ( other films / appologys ) :-[

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / the first time blondie turns tuco in
« on: June 05, 2008, 07:39:03 PM »
Blondie doesn't tell tuco about his plans of shooting the rope from tuco's neck just as the devil is about to bite him in the ass. the first hanging seams to supprise tuco more than anybody.

during the 2nd hanging angel eyes witnesses Blondie,  unaware of AE's scoping out their  game of collecting bounty reward money.   tuco does almost hang when Blondie's aim is slightly off.

there are several moments when Leone gives me the feeling all three of these men will eventually meetbut the currant interactions block out any speculations of how this will  occur.
which plot do you like  most GB&U, or FAFDM ? omitting FOD, since it was taken from "yojimbo".  :(  there are lots of twists annd turns to FAFDM  >:D

Off-Topic Discussion / director ROBERT TOWNE the script doctor
« on: May 23, 2008, 01:30:30 AM »
robert towne explaines how he took an ordinarly line from " the last detail " w/ jack nickolson
the result is using language and violence to establish a changing point in the film thus changing the plot to the story. warning strong language.
part 2 of 3 parts.
