Trivia Games / Re:Is there a board game about Sergio Leone?
« on: November 13, 2002, 06:47:15 AM »
I dont think there is a board game but here's a little something for ya...

3 parts:

1) In what Leone film was this line said?
2) Who said it?
3) And in what part of the film was it (quick description)

The line is "People scare easier when they're dieing."

(I hope I get that right - it's early  ;) )

OK, There seems to be enough people having issues so I will post the complete instrucitons here.

First off, please do use IE 6. It is by far the best browser out there when it comes to viewing CSS Web pages such as this one.

Having said that, IE 6 seems to want to over-manage your cookies so here is one way around this.

If you are having issues logging in and then not being able to post messages, try this:

In the Tools/Internet Options/Privacy tab you can edit/manage sites that use cookies (such as this one). Click the edit button near the bottom of the pop up window and 'ALLOW' cookies for these 2 URLS:

(You wil need to actually type these links in)

Click ok when fininshed and that should do it.

You may need to completely close your browser and
reopen it after you do this.

If you are still having problems after doing this, please e-mail me. Thanks.

Quentin Tarantino is good too. I wish he'd make more films though  :-\

This would indded be a great DVD. I'm thinking we are due for a Leonoe Box set, that has all the films nicely packaged with all the juicy extras.  ::)

Once Upon A Time In The West / Re:The role of Harmonica
« on: November 12, 2002, 07:40:29 PM »
Yeah Bronson was good but with the exception of the harmonica, Bronson is almost acting as if he was playing Clint's Man with no Name character, IMHO. Although I think it was a good career move on Clint's part (not to do a 4th Italian western), it would have been great to see him do the part. It would have explained why he is the way he was in the movies, becoming a bouty hunter, etc. Plus, i'd bet had Eastwood excepted the role, the film may have done better at the box office. By the time this film came out, Eastwod mania was quite strong.

6 million in 1966 had to be be huge though. I cant believe a james bond film could do that much back then. That is about the same as what they did in the early-mid nineties.

For a Few Dollars More / Re:The Man With No Name

Thanks for the info KC.

Another emotional scene is when Tuco is getting the crap kicked out of him in the POW camp, while the prisoners are forced to sing.  That whole scene was done very, very well.

If you are experiencing any problems trying to post a message or even loggin on for that matter, please e-mail me directly at

In your e-mail, please tell me what browser and version you are using (i.e. Internet Explorer ver. 6 ) and whether you are running a PC or Mac. For some reason some folks using I.E. are running into a problem related with 'cookies' and can be easily corrected in the browsers Tools/Internet Options/Privacy settings.
