A Fistful of Dollars / Re: Fistful underrated among Leone's movies?
« on: June 07, 2014, 12:33:23 AM »
It was him behind some sort of cloth screen slowly tearing it with his claws just like in your photo exactly.

It is interesting fod is proto gnu and fafdm is proto ouatitw and i can definitely see it. for, aside from the sole location against the most geographical gbu there is definitely that other aspect. there are like 3 picaro tuco like characters with silvanito, piripero and the first guy he meets entering the town who actually even looks like tuco sort of.

General Discussion / Did Leone read books?
« on: June 05, 2014, 11:16:09 PM »
Was wondering this image of him is running around on film sets , then coming to his place later at night to touchup scripts (like said in the bio) or running around at restaurants, whatever. But did he enjoy reading books for his own pleasure?? Or was he a word of mouth type of person.

The subtle glance at the camera right when he first raises the fork. It makes HOLES in the television screen.

yes noodles i guess i just really adore the whimsical picaro style of the dollars movies, that even if something is less quality like FOD than OUATITW that just in itself clinches it… that is how much i hold it dearly. I mean directors always grow serious to prove themselves to the critics, etc, wathver, so it's natural only Leone did his Once Upon a Time trilogy he even said "if i had not made America i would have remained a b-movie director"… but that picaro style is soooo underrated. Anyone can make a serious reflective movie and all that, but to get the balance for "fun" without it being disney or kid fun or whatever,, but like badass fun, is actually very underrated and what he pulls off with the 3 movies … well i guess thats why they're so iconic.

General Discussion / Re: "I've faced every injustice known"

Oh really?! Lol ! i thought it was that might have been "injustice in my life" added on so i perceived as him going through some troubles.  It was definitely either in the Something to do with Death or an interview that was posted here (in a topic made by me but that poster's post is now deleted unfortunately)… argh how one's perceptions change now that you put it that way.  :D

A Fistful of Dollars / Fistful underrated among Leone's movies?
« on: May 31, 2014, 01:01:38 AM »
Anyone think that this is underrated still because despite it being lower budget, his first personal one, more simplistic that people say "it's a good one, but of course he topped himself constantly afterward", well i honestly would say that this is truly his 3rd best movie behind the other two Dollars flicks. Yes even over Once Upon a Time in the West! Why? Because Once is him at his most directorial, more introspective, while Fistful is simple b-movie comic book style, to me that is actually more powerful of a thing to do, there is this energy and vibrancy to Fistful, which encapsulates the whole Dollars trilogy -- to me this is more powerful than even the Once Upon Trilogy.

He said this as quoted in the bio or maybe some other interview posted here, and then one wonders, what kind of injustices he has faced?  Like for example, did he ever get robbed? Arrested? Beatup? Get STDs??

I recently recovered some 3gp video files from an android phone and am able to view some but then there are others that cannot be played even though they were also recovered (the playable files have a pic from the vid on the cover while the nonplayable files dont). Can anyone help me out or someone that knows? Tried to convert the files into other formats using programs like Prism Video File Converter Video Converter and Freemake Video Converter but no go, it couldnt read them. Help me please.
