It's probably better off that way.
A shame 90% of Mr. Dead's fans have no idea that was sampled (stolen, borrowed... whatever) from a film.

I even wonder if Mr Dead nows that movie. :-\

My landlady friend in Tabernas, Almeria came up with a contact at Texas Hollywood/Fort Bravo Studios and he tells me that the studios are booked for a western film "of sorts" from September 2006 for 16 weeks.

Been there last week, I think Texas Hollywood is a good location, it's in the middle of knowwhere and it breathes western.

That's a great set. I don't see any spectator, but did you have to stay far from that performance?

The actors were also riding horses through the streets, so it was forbiden to come any closer. The spectors were on the left, but I made it to have them not on the pictures. (although there were some nice lady's around) :D

Some of the ruins are from the railroad ( the long wooden planks laid under the rails called ties or in Europe " sleepers " ) but the steel parts were the metal rims on the wagon wheels.

Thank you Peacemaker, I did'nt know that.

Following my recent trip to Almeria here`s a couple of "then and now" composites taken in Los Albaricoques.

El Mal,
I've been to Los Albaricoques also last week, and found this arena as well, it was on the left just before entering the village. Is it the same or are there two arena's in this village?

Been at Estacion La Calahorra in 2004 and last week, found out that some western fans were there in between, but I think this is not the right way to honour Leone.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think I found some parts of the railroad track near Almeria. It's just behind the Sweetwater range.
