« on: March 10, 2014, 01:28:29 PM »

22   <------------------------- ***** fan list please ignore     <----------------------------    *** this list does exist!!!! ****

My top 10 would be

1 Hoffman
2 Nicholson
3 Pacino
4 DeNiro
5 Brando
6 Olivier
7 Duvall
8 Day-Lewis
9 Redford
10 Walken

I don't think "Discuss all other Leone related films here."  elaborates it enough.

Born 1931.  Favourites films.

Godfather I and II
Lawrence of Arabia
Ocean's 11 1960
Westside story  :o

I asked him about GBU because he was 35 at the time of that release.  Thinking about The Dark Knight was the big film back when I was 35, and my feelings towards that movie. (haven´t seen it yet because Im not a Batman fan, but I did like the first movie)

He said he has never saw it , which is quite ironic because he likes the Clint films....Dirty Harry, Thunderbolt, Play misty for me etc..

I said "was because it the lack of publicity back then, especially in England....."

He said no, he was aware of it, he just didn't see it because of the initial bad reviews back then. (He was a slave to the critics my old man)

I don´t want to force him to see it, because that's not my deal.....but I do think GBU is a good father son bonding movie, and I do feel that he has missed out.

General Discussion / If Leone did SCI-FI
« on: September 07, 2013, 11:56:18 AM »
.......mentions on wiki that he was considered for the Flash Gordon project.

Would he´d been able to pull it off?

Or maybe he dodged a bullet.................

It could have been his Jack, 1941, Heaven´s Gate, or Wall Street 2.

....that you´ve never seen before.

Lawrence of Arabia (the 3hrs and 40 mins uncut version)  O0

Ennio Morricone / Has Ennio ever dabbled in any electro type music?

A collaboration with Giorgio Moroder would've been interesting
