If Manco/Monco means one come he pastes Cavanagh with only his left hand. Also in FOD his damaged hand is his left one isn't it? When does he damage his Right Hand?

and also......putting the "protecting his right hand" into doubt.........guess which hand he wacks TUCO with when he first hands him in to the sherriff for the reward?

That tree does not exist today

What about the tree that Blondie hangs TUCO from over the grave...has that gone as well.

If I remember its behind Blondie when they are setting the explosives under the bridge...probably on You Tube somewhere..

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Re: Sad Hill dog scene

I have read or heard that the dog that appears at Sad Hill at the end was sent in by Leone to get shock reaction from Eli Wallach who was unaware of it...hence he looks spooked.........Anyone got anymore info or is it just one of those stories.......I have heard Leone liked playing practical jokes.

Yep! that is apparently a true statement.....

Hmmmm. The first thing this commercial reminded me of is the street in the shelled out town where Blondie and Tuco kill Angle Eyes' men.

Looks like Mini Hollywood to me.....El Paso.....

One thing I the wide screen English version, you notice how much of the screen is missing in the Italian version. in some views of Indios gang at the Bar, there are some people totally out of just before the motive starts at time 1.47 there are eight in shot in the w/screen and only 6 1/2 in the italian version. Did they cut that from the width of the film never to be regained in the italian version?

FOUND Warsaw

Now I find this better than suzzana, but still not in Edda's league....

Probably just the artist modifying what he/she has seen in production stills. I'm pretty sure the drawings of Blondie and AE are also not found anywhere in the film. AE with a rifle in union garb?? looks like Blondie is firing the cannon, but he doesn't have the poncho on at that moment in the it must be from a still somewhere..

Hi guys,
I have always wondered where the picture of TUCO dressed in mexican garb swinging the rifle, comes from on the front of the GBU soundtrack and on some of the posters. The one about "for three men the cival war wasn't hell it was practice" .
They actually look like drawings of pictures...though colours wrong, and dont remember Angel eyes in blue trousers... etc....Well just looking at some of the photos in this memorabilia thread, there is one of TUCO where he threatens to hit Blondie with a spade in the cemetery..the German photos I think. The stance and position look exactley like the one on the poster. So I reckon they have taken that photo and edited it, drawing him in mexican dress and changing the shovel for a rifle. Why I dont know?....maybe more colourful
The only time I remember TUCO in this dress is the Siccorro scene, when he is in the cave, and when he chases and catches Blondie, I dont remember him swinging a rifle. Any thoughts, am I off track here? :-\ :-\

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / When to Fan or not to fan...

What do you think is the deciding criteria as to when you should fan a gun or just pull the trigger during a shoot out?

Ennio Morricone / Are there other E of G versions...
« on: November 21, 2011, 12:08:23 PM »
Are there any other live versions of Ecstacy of Gold not including Ragacci and Metallica out there somewhere, maybe some versions of his live concerts where he used a different soprano.........I find Ragacci a little to abrasive, abrupt and sharp.... I have heard other versions of OUATITW that are much sweeter and smoother..more soothing. But I would love to hear other versions of E of G.....
Edda's is the ultimate smooth and flowing and basically faultless...
