I am continually puzzled by the identity of the actor who plays the old man:

1) the old confederate in a deleted scene of GBU

2) the ticket agent at the start of once upon a time in the west

3) the old man who owns the pool table in My Name is nobody

im not sure if he's italian or american and im pretty sure its not josef egger (who plays piripero in Fistful and the old prophet in FAFDM)

Can someone enlighten me?

He's definately not Josef Egger

Didn't this actor play the barman in FDM in the striking the match on the hunchback scene too?
in these parts a man's life can depend on a mere scrap of information.

Too funny. I just made the connection betwenn gbu/once..west with the old dude the other day too. Leone always seemed to work in a quirky older gent along the lines of Juans father in fistful dynamite .

Victor Israel is the confederate sergeant inside the destroyed fort where Sentenza goes in search of Bill Carson. Should be in the latest  dvd from MGM.
Actually  Victor Israel is born in 1929 (source IMDB), too young to be the old confederate in the night scene of GBU (1966).

Looked on the Imdb, found out that the old man in OUATITW's name is Robert Spafford I think but I'm not sure if he's the same guy in the other two.

Well,OUATITW''s ticket agent and GBU''s old confederate are definitely the same man.I noticed that myself when I watched GBU DVD.

I cannot speak for the old man in Nobody,because I''ve only seen the movie once.
