Not exactly a Leone question, but a Van Cleef question. In Escape From New York, Van Cleef looks even cooler than usual, because of a tiny detail. What detail am I refering to?

He also sports an earring in a Chuck Norris movie from the 80's. Saw it long ago and can't recall the title. It involved ninjas.

Don't skip "return of Sabata". It isn't great (hell it's even struggeling with "Good") but it's worth watching LVC's hammy performance and the final 25 minutes.

The squeeze gun showdown is top notch stuff!

The first Sabata is certainly the one to get. It rubbed me the wrong way the first time I watched it but it quickly grew on me.

"Adios Sabata" stars Yul Brynner. I don't like the flick only because I don't like Brynner.
However the final ten minutes are good.

Yul Bruner isn't such a bad actor... he's just not van Cleef... and there isn't much he could do about that... 8)

I'd still give Adios, Sabata a fair chance if you like the the other two.

I'd say Adios, Sabata is definitely better than Return of Sabata.... but it honestly has little or nothing to do with the real sabata movies.  It's a cash in title, I prefer to call it "Indio Black."
