I'm a llama!

The man with no name character was not a concept in the making of the film but picked up by a film reviewer
and became part of the persona.
Also the poncho was introduced in order to make Clint appear broader.

Also if you watch the final scene where Clint comes out the cantina with his saddlebags over his shoulder he
slightly trips up and looks to the camera waiting for a 'cut'
to do it again, but the scene continues.Anybody else notice it ????

Yes I noticed him trip up and I think it looked realistic...don't forget he was still recovering from his recent beating at the hands of the Rojos.

What are we going to do with this one Frank?

I've watched this a multitude of time but never noticed it until you mentioned it.

Also noticed that the lip-sync is out when Clint says "... and maybe the Americans on the other side", his voice continues after he's obviously stopped talking to put the cigar in his mouth.

in these parts a man's life can depend on a mere scrap of information.

trust a man who wears both a belt and suspenders?

I just watched that final scene again and I don't see what you are talking about.

But I did notice a different mistake: When Silvanito shoots Esteban, you just see him pointing his gun at Esteban, but he doesn't actually pull the trigger and the gun doesn't fire!

There are three types of people in the world, my friend: those who can add, and those who can't.
