Red Harvest and this comedy. I saw this for the first time on tv in the sixties or early 70's, in b&w. Now I have seen the dvd, featuring the same actor playing Harlequin now past his 80 years of age. The comedy has nothing to do with
Red Harvest or
Fistful. Harlequin becomes a servant for two different masters only to earn more money. And as the two are really lovers (though he killed her brother in a duel) he doesn't play them against each other.
Reading the names of the actors in the last production linked above one can find a familiar one...
