According the IMDB, there is a scene during the final gunfight where you can see cars driving on a highway in the background. Has anyone else seen this?

I've heard of this before and I'm sure I searched the film and found the said cars...but now I cant see them. I thought it was when the camera has all three in shot...and clint is sat down with his back to the camera after he gives Lee his gun, and I thought it was in the background on other side of the coral where the trees are...but cant seem to see them anymore.........

In the sky, but I think they have 'air-brushed' them out on these restored DVD's.
It was during the bank raid sequence when they escape with the loot.

i recently watch the blu ray on tv , and i saw, after the final gunshot, when clint speaking with mortimer, a woman walking with a little (boy or girl).this woman appears when the camera film the face of clint, on the left we can see this woman with...modern dress??
 

can anyone confirm that?

Right after the close up with the bright sun behind him where Mortimer says "It's all for you, I think you deserve it", the camera goes back to Manco and she is some distance behind him, walking towards him. You see her between the blue of his collar (on his right side) and the large cactus.

Probably because the most I ever watched this film was back in the old days on vhs when it was probably not visible!

ok thank you, yes we can see this woman, and we can't see this woman on vhs tape, but in 1965 in a cinema? a large screen..  of course if you saw the film one time...it's difficult to see

I doubt GBU was planned then, but I assume that the line was stuck in there because of the possibility of another film in the series; Leone had already had one hit with FOD and that brought a sequel, so perhaps another would be coming up ....

Of course, ultimately the line was not needed: in GBU, Van Cleef is playing a totally different character than he is in FAFDM; not to mention that GBU is set years before FAFDM

I certainly hope it wasn't a hint to anything. The emotional music that plays in the background suggests it actually means "We will never meet again and that makes me sad", which is much better than "TO BE CONTINUED!!!!"
